About Us
Hilltop Community Children's Center offers quality childcare for ages 8 weeks to 5 years. We are a PA State Licensed facility. We work with Early Head Start for Infants and Toddlers which provides diapers and wipes for each child and a support person who can help with family needs. We also have a Head Start preschool classroom, a PreK Counts classroom and we will have a private preschool room in the Fall for families who are over income for programs or whose child doesn't turn 3 until after Sept. 30. Our passionate team is dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. We believe in the importance of early childhood education and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Hilltop's history goes back to 1988 when it used to be
St. Canice Child Care Center, run by our Founder,
Marcia Walters. She later purchased the building from the Diocese and renamed it Hilltop Community Children's Center. Marcia served the families of Hilltop until her retirement in 2023.
