Programs

We offer:
*
Early Head Start within our Infant and Toddler classrooms,
* a
Head Start option for 3 - 5 year old preschoolers,
* a private
Preschool program that is funded through ELRC or private pay.
* We have a unique
Family Support program that offers monthly family activities, parent education and fun. Our support person also works with families on a daily basis to complete screenings, works through any issues the family may have and provides resources to assist with economic, health and mental health concerns.
We provide breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack to all children. We follow the CACFP guidelines for nutrition and service. All meals are free of charge to families.

With Head Start and Pittsburgh Public Schools Early Intervention, we screen all preschoolers yearly to look for any concerning areas that may need further testing or scaffolding in the classroom.

Early Head Start provides diapers and wipes for all children enrolled in their program in our Infant and Toddler classes. Their Family Support person will frequently check on you, your child and your family and offer resources where they can.
We invite The Alliance for Infants and Toddlers to come in and screen all children from 8 weeks to just under 3 years old. Children can receive therapy in the center or at home or both, depending on need and scheduling.
